What no cycling clothes?
I don't believe this is a cycling forum in which their STORE has no bike clothing at all especially bike caps (which I would buy immediately). Or even a decent quality affordable shorts and Jerseys.

I would just buy a couple BF water bottles and see how those worked out first.
No way I'm getting the BF skinsuit though, $400 is ridiculous, and I don't do many time trials these days. Hopefully they use a quality chamois in them or have a generous return policy.

Get something worth buying. Specialized MOFLO (and they do custom logos), or Zefal Magnum.
If Marketing is important, then Bike Forums needs to spend a bit more time hunting for stuff that cyclists might buy. Perhaps a jersey? Or, I've gone to almost all synthetic T's in bright colors, some with reflective tape. SAFETY
Also small accessories. Bike lights, reflective triangles, etc. And, of course, spend some effort to research good quality accessories.
I'd also look at the logo. I'd probably be much more interested if it had a large bicycle image, and a small "BikeForums" text.
The half bicycle in a cartoon bubble is cute.
But, then minimize the text around it. Yes, I know this is in part advertising, but you get no advertising if nobody buys it.

But other than that, nothing else. The shoes, clothing types, and everything else that fits on the rider may need to be put in place.
This way we do our own review of products like in the other forums here. It may not be as polished as what we get on the radar type sites, but at least we get to hear from the consumers...that's us.
I am sure the manufacturers would like to hear what consumers have to say about their products and this would be at least, one way without the manufacturer having to hire a marketing firm to get input.
But other than that, nothing else. The shoes, clothing types, and everything else that fits on the rider may need to be put in place.

I've been notifying manufactures for years (via letters) on the quality of their products long before the internet came into popular use. In fact, I only ignore a survey when I know nothing about the product. Although, sometimes, that's actually the purpose of the survey.

Mostly they want orders from dealers , buying bikes by the pallet load ..
often bikes get batch orders, made , depending on the Preseason orders at the trade shows ,
from big shops that can afford sending someone for a weekend in Vegas,
where the industry trade shows are (US) ...
then other shops around the country, get them from a smaller batch
and they sell out early...
..
