Looks to be a good bike. Trek, so can't be too bad.
I am not a fan of the hydraulic disc brakes, but thats just me.

I just bought a 2013 Trek Crossrip Elite last night. I only rode it about a mile today to test some of the tuning I did after picking it up. But I love it.

It's a nice ride and really hauls on pavement. I haven't had it on gravel yet.

I'm not sure that actually has hydraulic disc brakes. Mine are mechanical. If it does have hydraulics, then GREAT. Hydraulic disc brakes are amazing. I have them on another bike and there is no question. They are fantastic.
