Backroads vs Duvine bike tour companies
Hello All,
I did a Backroads Bike tour in Portugal this year and had a great time. I was thinking of doing another bike tour this year. Recently I received a catalog from Duvine Bike Tours which has some very nice tours and accommodations.
Has anyone done tours with both companies that can speak to their differences and/or similarities?

The portugal trip was great. We road through rural southern Portugal. There were some days I don't think we saw 3 cars. Small sleepy towns with very friendly people and great food. Very relaxed riding.
We did a bike trip with Backroads in the Dolomites (Northern Italy and Austria) this September. Magnificent views and hotels but the riding was on bike paths so you were always on guard for traffic (bike). Had a good time, but it felt rushed compared to the Portugal trip.
Backroads in general is top notch. Fabulous hotels, great guides and great bikes. Would do another trip with the again
