A strange style jersey

Yesterday I spent the day at the Philadelphia Bike Expo. Saw lots of interesting bikes and accessories. One stall was selling jerseys with the three pockets on the front and none on the back. These pockets were the same size as typical rear pocket jerseys. The pockets were across the middle (breast line) of the jersey rather than at the bottom. I usually carry a thin plastic wallet, house/car keys, some tissues and my phone in my rear pockets. I can't imagine that having my phone in the front would be comfortable. Unfortunately I wrote down the brand but lost it.
Does anyone use a front style jersey? Any reviews?

The recumbenters will never wear that!! They would just wear a fanny pack swung to the front, over a tatty polo shirt.

I mean, the pockets would be hidden under their beards anyway.

The earliest cycling jerseys with pockets often had chest-mounted pockets.

I was wishing for one of those this summer after my shoulder was busted up. Couldn't reach my rightmost rear pockets with my right arm. Had to do everything left-handed, which meant relegating the right pocket to lower priority stuff -- like my beard wax, Geritol and Reader's Digest.

Problem solved:

The low front pockets also show off big guts--the pride of many recumbent riders.
