Carbon clincher with latex inner tube

Whilst browsing for inner tubes, I noticed that latex ones come with a warning that they may not be suitable for use with carbon clincher wheels due to lack of heat dissipation in carbon rims.

In the real world, has anybody damaged a latex inner tube because their carbon rim got too hot?
