Snow Commute First of the Winter

Did my first snow fall winter commute this year. Charging downhill the flakes really stung my eyes. Had to go without goggles due to snow build up on the lens and not being able to see. All in all, no worse than previous years. Still prefer warm and sunny weather.
Talked with a fella that is a handicapped ski instructor out west. He is very excited about the 2 feet they have at Telluride. They start after turkey day. I am not so excited, but happy to be out there and able to ride.

Winter...brrrrring it on!
All my midwest friends and family thing I'm so tough for riding year round in Colorado Springs, but our winters are warmer, drier and milder than those in the midwest. And Michigan gets all that moisture from the Great Lakes.

Have a fun and safe winter riding season!
