Foggy Ride on Mt Diablo California
This was my first ride on the mountain since I had the Mt Bike crash and surgery. We had a great turnout for such a cool wet day to ride Mt Diablo. Please like and comment on the content. Let me know what you may want to see and I'll see what I can do |
nice video. nice foggy weather. like it
|
I've got a youtube channel with literally 100's of bicycle related videos. Lots of custom bike build ups, repair tutorials, vintage bike overhauls, hacks and ride along race/ride videos.

Great, I like video. Just keep them short.

Its a caveat, and a general understanding that applies to even the well-seasoned filmmakers. Especially with viewers today and their short attention span. Get the viewer excited and end it before they become bored.

Please, tell me more things about making videos that I have known for decades.

Critics should feel free to post their own videos so that the rest of us can learn how it should be done.

I've posted many videos on BF before but apparently you missed them. Here are a few: |
Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway Cycling Trip
This is still the premier cycling destination in the Sierra Mountains. Ebbetts Pass, named after John Ebbetts, (el. 8,736 ft or 2,663 m) is a high mountain pass through the Sierra Nevada range in Alpine County, California. Ebbetts is eastern of two passes in the area traversed by State Route 4.

Great videos gentleman. Keep them coming!
BTW, the thread title says Video, so I assume its not just limited to cycling. |
Great idea. I also make ride videos on YouTube. Here are three of my most recent ones:

Some of my favorite trails last year
Business Time in Whistler Nicoles on Burnaby mountain Squid line on sumas mountain |
I can never figure out the "Post url" thingy, but here's a link to a climb up Gibraltar Road in Santa Barbara hills last Saturday. A bucket list ride used in Amgen Tour of California. Hardest climb I ever did. 4000' in 6.5 miles.

Mines Road - Cycling fun from Livermore CA on a Warm Winter's Day
One of my favorite local rides. Don't be fooled by this one though. One might think of it as 30 miles of riding up a canyon, turning around, and coasting back home. So not true. You'll have to work both ways on this one. The ride climbs up a beautiful and rugged canyon. The road is home to rural families and ranchers. Ranch vehicles and motorcycles are common on this route. The ride is fairly remote. At the junction is a little oasis called....The Junction. :-) You can refuel here. The Junction is sort of a hangout for all travelers -- including road bike riders and motorcyclist who enjoy racing or tour the twisty roads.

This is not my video but I came across it earlier today and liked it quite a bit. I hope you enjoy it also.
