A Warm Day...

...just warm enough so that I can paint the frame that I've been preparing for the last 6 weeks. That's all that I want. One day where I can get the garage up into the 50s so that I can paint my frame. Okay, maybe a 2nd and 3rd day, for the follow-up coats, too.

At least it's bike related.

I don't celebrate x-mas and just generally do a hey it's December maybe buy some gifts for people celebration because I know so many people of different religions or not.

I want a little money so I can pick up a Cambium saddle or two and maybe some parts for a left downtube 7400 shifter so I can get it working properly. Tim also hit the nail on the head with peace or at least free total frontal lobotomies for everyone, that could help ; )

It has been a colder than normal autumn for sure. Hang in there, NOAA predicted this to be followed by a milder than normal winter and less precipitation than normal as well.

Me, I'm keeping the snowblower handy just in case.

Not strictly biking related, but multipurpose with a biking use case: a set of torque wrenches.

love to have a set myself. My brother bought some from harbor freight when they were on sale and they seem pretty good.

I bought a Cygolite headlight/tail light set for my daughter for Christmas. I think she'll like 'em.

I would like a Cannondale Topstone 105 from Santa. Might as well ask Santa as wait for the LBS to have them in stock.

wether I’ve been good enough for Santa to bring me anything though, is debatable.

My new bike is - finally - near completion. It's had a few setbacks, but every step back forward has resulted in more money and time being spent doing it better than i'd previously intended. My rear suspension is now from a £2k GT STS carbon, and it's getting to the point where the more i throw at it, the more i look at current parts and think they're no longer good enough. The £350 Rockshox Revelations now ought be replaced by Boxxers.. but whatever, there's one thing i was absolutely happy with, the jewel in the crown, my design and my fabrication; the ultra short wheelbase child-back tandem cro-mo frame made from an old GT Quatrefoil. It's still steel. Is steel the best material i could've used..? Hey Santa, make it in Tiitanium for me instead.. ta.
