I am skeptical. That's a big dang hole to fill in at great expense. From the article:

"The company declined to comment about the newly filled-in quarry."

The quarries west of Columbus that I used to frequent in '76/'77 while attending Ohio State have been filled in or reclaimed as well... BITD, there was nothing but farms and a few quarries near the river. No buildings other than farms out west. Now that entire area west of the Scioto River and north of I-70 where I used to go riding have been turned into housing developments, industrial parks or golf courses.
