I bought a 2017 Forester back in July of 2016. The stock tires suck. The thing was recalled shortly after I bought it because the Japanese robot that built it may not have put enough transmission fluid in it. Then the driver's seat belt buckle fell apart in less than one year. But the crème de la crème was the AC compressor dying on me this summer. Drove to my satellite office one cool morning. When I left it was over 90 degrees. Started off for home only to discover the AC was not working. Fun. And recently I got a notice that Subaru is extending the transmission warranty to 10 years. Things that make you go Hmmmmmmmm.
