I am so mad!!!
Is rain scared of me or something? It hadn't rained here (i.e. on the coast) since May 6. This morning I set off on a ride to Springbrook which, under normal circumstances, is notorious for (among other things) rain, and lots of it (twice as much as the coast).
So of course, it doesn't rain on me today, but when I descend back to the coast, I find that it has been raining down here (admittedly not much, but it would have been better than nothing). How is that possible? Have I intimidated someone important? Am I to blame for the drought? I am sooooooooo outraged!!! :crash:  :irritated |
Chris,
You would have loved it here. :) I took my little girl bike riding in the park and you guessed it--it was raining (drizzling.) Did this stop her? I had to convince her to stop when it finally started raining hard and she was already wet. Don't children have any sense? Next thing you know, she'll be wanting to actually ride someplace, other than in circles in the park. |

Here's a book for you Chris. I read this to my little girls sometimes. It's hilarious. Your post reminded me of it. :)

Originally posted by Nobby ChrisL, I don't think there's anything to do but to write your congressman. You certainly should be mad as hell! |
Originally posted by Chris L I think there's nothing for this but to give that smart-ass who calls himself God a good solid kick up the rear! |
