I saw this one earlier today. Very brazen. That's the reason I take my crappy beater mtg whenever I need to pick up somewhere.

Cordless angle grinders are getting better, but you ain't getting through a fat U-lock in that time.

No ****. I like in a bike theft capital in the UK. Muddy Fox (think Huffy by US standards) gets stolen and/or stripped. Other people tell me that I a lock is a luxury

The only way to survive over here is to hide in the pack as keeping a bike indoors is very tough with the cost of space being so high in the southeast part of the country. I have also recently recent that if you get your bike stolen where I live, the thieves come back 3 months later to steal the replacement bike!

Ugh.

Get a good lock people and hide amongst the pack, not in the fringes.

edit: I apologise for my grammatical errors; it's too early in the morning, however, I like them including "recently recent" so I'ma keepin dem.

500,000 bicycles stolen per year in Holland. 90% into containers headed for the 3rd world. Sorry, I don't get Europe indifference to the issue ...
