Zwift "ride on" question

So I have been working on my badges on Zwift, been motivated by getting some more of these off the list. I have been more active in the "ride on" efforts trying to get the 30 in one ride badge. I will never get the 100 one crazy.

Anyways my question: Is there anyway to tell in game how many ride ons you have received in the session? I don't see any counter and if you go to the menu there doesn't seem to be a counter there. Does such in game counter exist?

I had 28 on a recent ride and didn't know I had that many, but then I wish I would have known I would have made an effort to get two more.

thanks -

You want to know the secret to getting a lot of Ride Onís? Change your name to a girls name and every dude you are riding with will give you a ride on. Lol

Do a group ride - most of the ride leaders encourage ride on spamming during the ride.

I think the 100 badge is for GIVING 100 ride-ons.

To answer the original question, I think if you log in to my.zwift.com during a ride, you can see your in-progress statistics and under your picture you will see a running total of how many thumbs up/Ride Ons you have gotten. I don't think that shows up in the Companion App anywhere but I'm pretty sure it does at my.zwift.com - but I haven't tried that in quite a while.

I have never done a group ride, will try this. You get a badge for giving 100 RO and a badge for getting 100 in a single ride. Seems impossible but getting the 30 in one ride shouldn't be but I found it is. Will try a group ride.

I have never even logged in to the website, ever. I use the app on my ipad and I do use the companion app as well but next time I will try to log in on the actual website.

Failing these, I will change it to a stripper name and see if that works.

I find it pretty difficult to give a lot of ride ons if I'm riding hard. It's okay during a recovery or cool down, but just can't do it in the middle of a workout or race.

I do agree with this. BUT if someone gives me on I always give it back I guess unless doing a workout and have to hit the sections for the XP's......nothing trumps getting XP's

I was going to give a rider a "ride on" during the cooldown of my intervals this morning and then noticed it was a woman rider with a zillion thumbs ups in her jersey pockets. Thought of this thread. Didn't want to add to the list of creepin' dudes.

Whenever I see that someone I'm giving a RideOn to is a woman I still do so, but then I find a guy rider and give him one, too! I guess it is good to be more sensitive to this kind of thing - having a daughter did change my perspective!

I am going to test this on my ride tomorrow...change my profile and name to a female and see what happens. The most I have gotten in a one hour ride is 27 RO's. And I was working the RO button myself pretty hard. So tomorrow morning I will see how it effect this. I will keep you posted.

So I changed my profile, female gear, female colors, longest hair do I could do, blond of course. Very girly name and used a picture of my wife all dressed up at a wedding we were at last fall. Stage is set. I will do a one hour ride in the morning. I will not fish for one single RO I will only give back when given.

Stay tuned......

Hidden achievement!

I apologize - you are correct. I didn't even know it was there.

So... here's how you do that, get on a group ride and say these words "Hey everybody, I"m trying to get 100 ride ons in one ride, can you help a brother out" and see what happens.

no worries.

The two badges that I think I will probably never get will be the everesting badge, can't even fathom that feat and then the 100 ride on in a single ride. I have no doubt its obtainable but seems such a difficult one to get.
I only have 4 left to obtain after 4 winters of riding. I will get the 25 times up Alpe De Zwift eventually and hopefully the 30 in a ride but 100 in a ride and everesting seems hard. Will see. I like the little badge deals they are fun.

BUT will see how this "acting" like a woman rider goes. Maybe I am not as smart about this as I think I am .

I can't believe this worked.

So I seriously can't believe this worked.

I got on the course of the day, UCI Rich. Just started doing the big loop and riding.
I didn't fish for RO's for the first 30 minutes, I gave them back as I got them and I gave them to people that I follow and they follow me. I also gave them to people who got a personal best or finished a workout or met a goal, but didn't actively seek out RO's.

After 30 minutes I had 18. Over half way to the 60 minute limit I was feeling optimistic to get the 30.
30-45 Minutes I was more active about giving them fishing a bit.
After 45 minutes I had 29.
From here on out it was just a free for all. I ended the ride at around 53 minutes I think and ended up with 33.

If I would have really fished the whole time for RO's I think I probably could have gotten 50? I can't believe just because I posed at my wife it was that much easier. Sunday I have the house to myself and will do one more ride as a "she". I am going to see if I actually can't get the 100. (2 hours) I will try once then go back to my correct settings and such. I just was kind of shocked that it was all because I was riding as a woman.
