Western Maryland road biking
Are there any Bike Forums members out there from W. Maryland? I am looking for suggestions for a 3 day road bike tour towards the end of April. Also interested in day trekking rides in the same area. Any suggestions/info would be greatly appreciated.

Might help those in the area to give advice. I myself have been sticking to the trails C&O, Western MD Rail Trail, GAP.

I can't give you much advice as far as places to stay on a tour, but all the roads I've been on (apart from 219) have been well maintained, scenic, and fairly low traffic. It's a nice place to ride.

Not sure if you are only interested in loops, I did a 4 day ride a few years ago that was a combination of Western Maryland and South Central PA:
York PA to Mercersburg PA
Mercersburg to Breezewood
Breezewood to Cumberland MD
Cumberland to Hagerstown
The PA sections were on signed PA bike on road bike routes (here) and you can now include riding on an abandoned section of the PA turnpike and going through 2 long, unlit tunnels instead of climbing a gigantic hill east of Breezewood.
You can go in either direction obviously - I had a friend drive me to the start in York and ride a bit, and my wife picked me up in Hagerstown. This was a shortened version of what would have been a longer tour to Ohiopyle that would have done some riding on the GAP.
If you want to stay more to the west, and don't mind riding on the Great Allegheny Passage crushed stone surface (fine with my touring bike), you can make a nice multi-day loop from Cumberland if you head north on the PA route but then head west at Bedford and take the PA route to Rockwood, then the GAP back to Cumberland.
I've only done day riding around Deep Creek Lake, as someone else suggested you can check RideWithGPS and probably find routes there.
