The cross chain thing brings up a point. My hybrid has a triple chainring up front with twister gear changing on the handlebars and the gears are numbered. This Diverge has a double chainring up front with an 11 ring cassette, no numbers. I literally have no idea what gear I am in. I can look back there fairly easy but still, I can't keep track of where the chain is.
The trend of having no gear indicators on shifters really ticks me off, yet when I mentioned it previously, I was surprised by how many strange people prefer no gear indicator.
