Also be curious to know how many prefer the satin or flat paint over gloss. I think it was a popular thing several years ago, but is it still?

Ahh, somehow thought it was already ordered. Good luck deciding!

Yes it was, but came in slightly damaged (paint chip) and there were no more to be had. Hard to dish out 4K when it’s less than the way it should be. Might have been that way after one ride, but you just don’t want to start out like that from the get-go.

OK. Did you get the impression they would be willing to order something else for you or are they gun-shy?

I wanted to like the blue/yellow but the pictures must not show the blue well, it looks gray. But the crimson/black looks awesome in the pictures, more of a "root beer" color. So I voted for that.

Ohhh... What a miserable website * Can't they come up with something better than a 3rd rate website that is slower than molasses on ice? And loads half pictures.
If you have the dough, I'd snag the Sagan S-Works Roubaix bare frameset, and build it to suit.
$5000 for the bare frame (can you get it on sale?), then can you do your dream build for $2000? Bringing the bike up to $7000.
It looks like most of the Sagan Comp bikes are out of stock, and probably gone forever, except the smaller sizes.
You can still order the SWorks Sagan frames.
Most of the Roubaix Expert complete bikes are also showing out of stock, but you can probably get onto a waiting list.
The Metallic Burgundy isn't bad, and would probably be my second choice.

Color-wise, I like the red the best. Shame it's a weird looking frame.

I like the crimson best. A guy in my riding group has some variety of S works in a green/blue that changes color with the light. Very attractive.

They are all terrible IMO.
The red one would be the best, but it's ruined with the 1970's knee high socks stripes around the seat post, and the el cheapo looking black square around the logo on the fork, looks like a packaging sticker you should remove. I'd get that dove gray Comp.

I was leaning towards the red, as well, but then i saw the close-up, and realized it was a glittery, hot rod metallic paint job, and had to pass. So, none of them really grabbed me, but the black/grey was least offensive.
I agree with the above post to buy the frame you like most, and build it to suit.
(BTW, who cares which one anyone else likes best, which one do YOU like best?)

The crimson scheme looks too much like Alabama football for me to consider it.
I would think the flat black / charcoal would be gettin' more love. Guess people are burned out on that color combo.

Exactly the same things I don't care for. That design on the fork could have been done so much better. The stripes around the seat post... why?

I guess I'd have to find a different bike? lol.

I'd really like to actually see the bikes/samples in person before buying.
Are the Sagan frames using a type of Chameleon Paint? That would be a cool effect.

Good looking frames are great, but a month or two in, you care less about the looks and more about the ride. At least I do.
(But I would rather have it all ...including looks)
