Might be time to hit the Korova Milk Bar, and mull it over.

I hear the Milk Plus Velocet is good. That Velocet will keep you pedaling for days, though the Sythemesc and Drencrom are also worth trying. Just tell 'em "Moloko Velocet" and they'll know what you want.

I'm pretty sure I know whose sock puppet this is based on style, but I'll keep my suspicions of whom private.
It's mildly entertaining role playing, so no harm done. The weird picture of the chain is cool.

Only had a chain break once in over 100,000 miles. On my tandem, going up a hill of course. One of the pins came out and my stoker found it. The one time I did not have a chain tool so I knocked on a door of a nearby house and borrowed a pair of pliers and reassembled the chain and finished our ride. Now I always have a chain tool and a spare power link.

Man! I'm 70 and been cycling since I was 7. I've competed for 5 years, toured for 30 and owned more bikes than I can remember. I've never broken a chain. I've come across a few that didn't want to come apart.
I carry a chain tool and I'd push a pin out, remove the offending link and push the pin back in. I didn't know they made master links until a few years ago.
