I have the same one, albeit an older model. I really like it. I'll buy a 4 place when this one is done.
I did get a couple of small rub marks where the hook met the top tube but nothing I'm concerned about.

It does secure the wheels using Velcro straps. Simple but very effective.

BTW, a pool noodle or foam pipe insulation can be used to protect the top tube.

yes, but... Anything that is in contact with a painted surface that can move will cause scratches over time. That's why I suggested the use of a small piece of 3M paint film. It doesn't move on the top tube, the clamp can move while in contact with the paint film but that movement won't mar the finish underneath. Another plus is that paint film becomes almost invisible (except for the edges). It's easily replaceable, and will prevent scratches.
