I think it's about 25 years old...

How is anyone supposed to help if you provide zero info?

They haven't changed much over the years. They still use rod brakes.

Well, in 1975 when I was living in Ghana our night watchman had one. I got a kick riding it back then. He was very protective of it though, just a quick trip into the village to buy a couple cigarettes was all that he allowed. Those brakes worked good enough to go down the hill from the school. But a hard slog back up.

Perhaps the old timers in "Classic & Vintage" can help.
https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vintage/

You can make a few posts in the "Itroductions" forum, and perhaps some other threads of interest to get up to 10 posts. Then you can post pictures.

(The 10 post minimum has helped reduce the spammers on BF)
