Riding in Central Texas (Hill Country)

I am fortunate to have a large amount of open back country roads for riding in Texas Hill Country. This pic is at a water crossing on the Perdrnales river just outside of Fredericksburg, Texas (wine country). I'm really enjoying my Trek Checkpoint after riding it for several months.

I really like the bike, I really like the locale .... but I have to ask, how much can you carry in that "bikask"? if I were out in the wilderness i would want at least a pump, multi-tool, two tubes, glueless patches, and tire irons, plus a gel and an energy bar.

Did I mention that I really like your bike and think the scenery is gorgeous?

I like your outlook on preparation! I'm guess I should upgrade my travel case (LOL). Thanks for the the compliment on the bike and scenery.
