Much much less than $150 for the Nashbar magnesium spd-style pedals I've used for a few years. Don't know who actually made them.

My faves are all old. Lyotard 23 touring platforms, Campagnolo C-record Strada Platforms, Campy Chorus Strada Platforms, Shimano 600 EX 6207, Shimano 105, and a few others of similar architecture. The weighting of the Campy and Shimano models are best for easy tip-in. No cleats, slightly snug straps, my foot only falls out when I want it to. The C-records now sell on Ebay for several hundred, but I got them in the early '80s for about $35 the set complete NIB.

I've been using these Ritchey Pro Micro V4 pedals (now discontinued), for many years. Small, lightweight, minimalist — a weight weenie's dream pedal.
I bought up a bunch of these before they were discontinued. They use a modified SPD cleat, also made by Ritchey.
