Very much enjoying my new ride, Motobecane Cafe 11 in chrome. The chromoly frame truly has a magic carpet ride.

Just ordered one of these in black. I'm very excited to get riding again, as I haven't owned a bike in about 25 years.

Have you taken it on any gravel roads/trails, and how has it fared there?

My first quality 10 speed was a '72 Motobecane Grand Record. Then I went with a full Campy LeChampion in '74. $395 for the LeChamp back then. The bike shoo even gave me custom gearing as I was racing Junior catagory. 49/52 rings and 15-24 freewheel. Bike came with Clement Paris Roubaix tires too.
Along with with the bike I bought a Lutz track suit, for all of $25. All beautiful stuff that was available back then. Wool shorts with leather chamois was the norm. Made in France, Italy, England. Quality like we will never see again.

Bought me Motobecane Fat Bike 2 winter's backfire winter riding. I didn't want to spend too much $ in case I found out Winter riding wasn't my thing. Turns out Fatbiking Is fun all year long.

Good bang for the buck, I reccomend them to my friends looking for a budget bike for their kids. Bought a couple for my kids.

New Motobecane owner here. I was in wish mode for a 11-34 goupset as my roadie is 11-28 and with my health issues, the extra gears would help me on inclines. I had always known about Bikes Direct but always wondered if it was a scam. couple friends confirmed that BD was legit so I took the plunge and picked up the Immortal Pro in carbon frame and fork with Ultegra R8000 and DT Swiss aero spoke wheels. $1,599 plus tax set me back $1,750 shipped. Delivery was quick. Ordered on Thursday night and arrived at my door on Sunday via Fedex.

I am hoping to catch the first ride tomorrow afternoon.

I've been riding my Motobecane Le Champ SL Ti with Ultegra from bikesdirect for about 3 years. Love it, best bang for the buck.
