We're pretty much all natural gas plants out here. The above-pictured Mountain View Power Generating Station is a natural gas fired dual combustion turbine w/ heat recovery steam generators and a rated capacity of 1,102MW/hr. One point one million watts.

LOL.

OCPP. Oak Creek Power Plant. Coal burner. Next mission. A train.

I apologize that it's not closer and a better picture of it, but it's pumping out the energy.

Can I also say, I'm really digging everyone's bikes!!!!!! Really nice stuff. I'm totally jealous. LOL. I had not really had my eyes set on 10 speeds until I rescued one from the garbage the other night.

Although it's not a 10 speed any longer. Someone turned it into a fixed gear.........

I think this is a hat trick of the three most recent challenges. Any bonus for being out in the annoying drizzle? Shout out to PNW for making Soda Pop Fenders.

Careful man, you'll be getting mugged under the overpass. Or worse, the bike gets stolen....

I'd like to see "sport in the background," that is, any kind of sport/game going on. Hockey, tennis, disc golf, kids whipping snowballs at each other, whatever.

As far their real-ness goes, I don't see much diffrence between them

P.S. Santa is a rather common female name around here, so in theory I could ask one of them to take a picture with my bike Too bad there isn't one among my closest acquaintances.

They say it's 1,050 MW, but I'm told it can can handle short peak loads of another 15%, (1,210 MW) so really with it and you can go Back to the....

Fire station. Wanted: Veteran tree

Here, a fire station. If you look closely, you can see fire trucks behind the gates.

Next mission: a big old (veteran) tree; diameter at breast height should be roughly one bike length or more

That is a beauty of a fire station.

I can't say I've seen many large diameter trees near me. They probably all got cut down to make wooden Santas.

By "veteran" do you mean 'old growth'? Because I'm a veteran, and there's a tree in my yard. So...that could be a veteran tree.

If it's big enough to be a bike length long than you have a veteran tree in a veteran's yard. You would be blessed indeed. Unless you had to chop it down. Then not so blessed. Tree guys are charging an arm and a leg around here because we have this bug called the Emerald Ash Borer and it's killing ash trees by the droves. Lots of houses with woodpiles around here. We have 7 trees that are all dead and have to be cut down. The guy came and did one of them already..... He's an old neighbor and does odd jobs and not a specific tree guy. I think right now if we had tree people they would be charging in excess of 5k. I kid you not. The neighbor got a quote for 2 trees it was 2k. The prices for their work has gone up tremendously cuz there's so much work right now.

I'm not sure if it's like this around the country but it's pretty sad. Especially on my book. I've negotiated some cash and 4 guns in trade to get this work done. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...........

That's my rant for today.

Fifty six, I freaking love your bike.
