That’s my wife ahead of me, about to enter an icy tunnel on the Rock Island Trail this weekend.

This barn is one of my favorite spots and it's only about a mile from my house. A lot of my rides are in the evening, so I get some great sunset shots.

Tunnels.

PR 3 in between Elko and Fernie, B.C.

Needles Highway, SD.

Mickelson Trail, SD.

Big Savage Tunnel on the GAP.

Inside Big Savage.

1.66 mile St. Paul Pass Tunnel on the Hiawatha.

One of the tunnels of the abandoned PA Turnpike. Filming location of The Road starring Viggo Mortensen.

I stop and say "Hi!" to Lucy a couple of times a year during long weekend tours from my house to S. Jersey. Should we do bridges next?

Better parts of my commute

Generally pretty quiet except for...

...crossing traffic that is careful to keep its distance.

The requested sunset shot.

I do have to dismount to access.

You saw a deer? You ready for this. There was an Aligator on top of the bike path once.
But it there needs to be more reds in the Sunset to register however.

All photos taken on my local 10 mile loop that I ride when I don't have time for a longer route.
Sorry, no tunnels, but one tiny bridge.
