Indeed, FedEx gets it done. Straight, beats waltzing around, anytime.

After cleaning attachment parts, seat is installed and will be fine tuned tomorrow. Already gained under seat space over the Mammoth, making access and operation of tool bag MUCH easier. Can't wait to give Randee a ride!

Tomorrow should see UPS/USPS finishing their duet and Lowrider rack added.

Happy Days!

So, it was a fixed race from the start? You deliberately handicapped UPS by ordering a "relay to USPS" service, and now you pretend that it is somehow "inexplicable"? Next time, for a fair race order FedEx SmartPost shipping, so that it will also "inexplicably transfer to USPS".

Heh, all I ordered was a rack offa ebay seller.... As posted by a fellow member, this was a light-hearted foray. At the time, I noticed that, physically, the packages were about equidistance away and thought it a humorous exercise to "race them" here....
Nothing more.

UPS for me! But then again, Louisville is the hub, so everything is flown here to be sorted and distributed. No need for express dely, usually is delivered withing 2 days.

In my area Fedex typically is better than UPS. The UPS/USPS route adds an additional day or two to the delivery once the item hits the local UPS center.

I ordered some auto parts on Sunday, they left NY State on Monday and were in IA at my house Tuesday. That was with DHL.

While, again, I didn't choose the methods of delivery, what you say does point to an interesting truth (?): The lowrider rack (delivered today) was an fleabay auction with free shipping. I am guessing this could be offered by using the UPS/USPS option. The other package (saddle) was online GoodWill with shipping added through FedEx....
The mental exercise of "The Race" was fun and funny... AND...I may have learned something!

Thanks for helping

You wouldn't be a UPS or USPS employee, would you?

Damn that sucks but glad they are staying safe. Bike Shops are essential around me and are listed by the feds as essential. Certainly a good time to write letters and such to people in power and make sure we are all declared essential across the board.

UPS and FedEx have the advantage of not being micro-managed by the only purely American criminal class.Personally, I've had a lot of trouble with UPS.

I don't get it....

Eventually, everything landed on the bike and adjusted well. The ride is near nirvana for this simple man.

The Cobb Randees from Goodwill were the real deal. I ordered a few Wednesday. They arrived today. A $200 seat for $20 is a slamming good deal.

Super! Glad someone got in on it
I have no investment/interest in GoodWill, but still hope members here will get all they can use....
