TdF DVD's?
Hey All,
Haven't been on here for a long, long time but I thought I'd ask here. Because I (we all do, I know) have a lot of time, I started watching Tour de France DVD's. I thought I had them all up to 2011 and I had only had a few BUT my question is, why can't I find any site with all the years? They seem to be non-existent. I found a few older ones on eBay and Amazon but I remember being able to get these through World .Cycling Productions but now the options are very limited (usually pointing you to Amazon or eBay).
I would love to see the recent years. Anyway, what gives?
Thanks.

wcp folded and so went the dvd productions. i think the newest gt i have is a 2011 (giro, i think). figured someone would step into the vacuum and maybe someone has
but i'm not aware of it/haven't seen it. granted, i haven't really investigated except for a random, late-nite you tube mountain stage search.
just threw on the 1998 giro two nights ago. so good.

Thanks. Yeah, I found NBC Sports carry's the tour which you have to sign up for. You can get each stage raw (I guess from an international feed) or NBC's feed which features Phil Liggett and Bob Roll. I' only see 2019 which is OK for me.

Check YouTube. Lots of grand tour videos dating back decades.
However keep in mind that YouTube's algorithm tends to bury stuff like this. Your first search may not turn up what you're looking for. But if you keep watching cycling videos, eventually more obscure cycling videos will bubble to the surface. I suspect that's a trick YouTube uses to keep eyes glued to their site. If their searches were more effective many of us would be in and out quickly without browsing the latest popular monetized videos YouTube tries to push.
It also helps if you use Google news on an Android phone or tablet. If you read stories about cycling, that info gets shared with YouTube, which will influence our search results.
But if we browse in full privacy, blocking ads, scripts, cookies, etc., some obscure videos on YouTube may never pop up on our searches.
