Need Help with a Schematic or Service Manual

I have a 2010 Trek 3500. I had an issue installing a PDW bell. I didn’t have the dang fork tight and the tube slid off! 🤦🏼‍♂️ I need to make sure I put the spacer and parts back together in the right order. Can anyone help me with the schematics or with a if you know where I can get a schematic online? I could go to my LBS, but I am going out of town in the morning and want to get this fixed before I go. This bike was made for several years. Doesn’t have to be a 2010 schematic.

Do you happen to know the model of the headset? Many older Treks used Cane Creek headsets (possibly S2 - S3). Does it have a cartridge bearing or loose bearings? There should be some sort of model number embossed somewhere.

You'll probably find that if you install a headset spacer or bearing race upside down you'll notice some larger than normal gaps between the fork crown and the head tube. Also, it won't feel as smooth as it should. It's usually not that difficult to figure out. I mean, it can only install one of two ways.

Loose

Hey thanks for the update everyone I’ve decided just to replace it with sealed bearing headset kit. It is currently loose bearings. Can anyone recommend a 1 inch an 1/8 headset replacement kit and website?
