Bourbon Street is Eerie

I have a 30 mile ride I do on weekend mornings when there is almost no traffic. It takes me through the heart of the city. On a normal weekend morning before clean-up crews come in, Bourbon Street looks like a landfill and smells like a combination of hot beer, warmed over piss and baked bile. Lately it has been eerily serene.

Wow, they boarded up businesses like they were expecting a hurricane! :twitchy:

It's truly a surreal experience seeing it that way.

It's been a tough time for the rats in the french quarter and in other downtown areas as well.
