Has anyone used these? They're a cheap Chinese knock off of thumb togs ($3-4 as opposed to $25-30 inc. postage).

Any tips for using them? I'm wondering about the best angle for mounting, etc. I'm going to try these cheaper versions out, and if I like them, I'll think about buying the TOGS (Thumb Over Grip) pictured below. There's nowhere to buy them locally and I don't want to have t go to the hassle of ordering them, paying about $30 US and then not liking them.

I have a pair of TOGs to try them out. For what they claim to do, they're just OK for providing another riding position for your hands with a modicum of control. I'm not running out to buy additional ones for my other bikes if that says anything.

Just a word of caution: don't over tighten the mounting screws as they are metal going into soft plastic.
