Water Bottle Cage $50.00

Or buy a King SS cage for around $18. I am a huge fan of cages, but not paying high prices for them. The Kings work really well. In and out is easy and the bottles don't come out. They last a long time and look decent. (Plus I hate carrying bottles in my jersey pocket and getting it back in after a drink.)
King is one of those rare companies. They make waterbottle cages. Two materials but identical save that. And that is all they do. (Well I think they make one other item.) They don't change styles every year, Don't advertise much at all. Just took a time honored and very good cage (the French TA), copied its shape and function, came up with a cleaner and stronger design and made them. Still do. I suspect they have a small working space, a few good long term employees and just keep a regular supply coming. I doubt there is a lot of variation to their business and I suspect they very rarely have to deal with returns.

I prefer the Portland Design Works cages, never have lost a bottle and they look super neat. Though if I want MUSA I gotta have my King Ti cages ultra light and well made. Not cheap but I can get the Stainless cages for that with just a little bit more weight.

My cages (steel) are over four years old and still look brand new. And they won’t discolor bottles. And for those who care, they are manufactured in Durango, CO.

King Cage is a great value and they work great. You and plop down $60 and get the titanium version.
Nitto cages look pretty but run between $60-90. I don’t have one, but maybe for the next bike.

Ya, I just hadn't seen any high end bottle cages before. Just being a little snarky, coming from a guy who just bought a pretty pricy bike (although a good deal), SC Tallboy CC XO build, seems a little crazy but I am enjoying the bike.

My bike was so expensive I hate to add any weight to it, already have back packs, fanny packs & jerseys, so no added weight, not that it really matters,

I have never had a water bottle holder that didn't work well. The cheap ones seem to function well.
My favorite is a food bag/bottle holder that velcro straps on the handlebar stem joint. I keep a water bottle in mine with two in regular holders.

Personally I don't like a backpack, or hydration bag or having a tone of stuff in my jersey pocket. And after what I spent on my bike, i figured (2) CF cages were just want i needed to match the Ti and carbon pedals.
Never lost a bottle and it's not like they wear out like tires and chains.

I've tried a few bottle cages, & the ones that stick out in my memory right now are the Topeak Modula Java Bottle Cage & Topeak Adjustable Modula Cage EX Modified Shape Bicycle Waterbottle Cage.
I give them 2 out of 5 stars. One has the ability to lose parts along the way if not paying attention when trying to remove a bigger bottle enroute while cycling, & the other loses tension no matter how tight you try to crank down on the adjustable twister knob... then it breaks. Both toss your beverage up & out on to the ground when hitting a typical michigan MUP bump (small scale mountain breaching the surface) then gets kicked over into oncoming traffic to be ran over by a LEO vehicle. Simple is the only way. Get the aluminum cage & dont second guess it.
