What's the best Raleigh road bike of the 70s?

I'm looking to get a Raleigh road bike but having trouble deciding or knowing what to get. What are the best ones from the 1970s?

Also, what's the difference between a Raleigh Record & Raleigh Super Record? I've seen both of these on craigslist.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pro, International and Comp are the collectibles, though there is some love for Super Course. IIRC there were some even higher level race bikes, SBDU? Have this moved to C&V and you'll get better info.

You will want to post this in the C&V forum where people ride and fix up old bikes. Personally I'd get an International.

Thanks guys. I will repost in C&V. And I was thinking the International too. But will consider the consensus of the C&V.

I had a Raleigh Pro in the 70"s, IIRC that was the high end stock model. The difference between the pro and international was that the pro was full campy Nuovo Record while the international was full campy Nuovo Record except the brakes. The brakes on the International were Dia Compe center pulls.
