Garmin Connect website stagnating?

The Garmin Connect (GC) app seems to get updates almost weekly. New features are constantly being rolled out, such as the perceived effort slider that appeared on one of the updates.

Contrast this with the GC website. To my eye, the website has not a major overhaul in years. The new content that is rolled out on the app does not appear on the website. Or at least as far as I can tell. Yet the website is needed for some functions such as setting goals and PRs.

My question is, is the GC website being left to slowly die? Has there been any updates to the website content that I am missing? Is Garmin trying to move everything app based?

Good questions. I find that the app and the website, do not share information with each other. I have been told they do but what's on my phone doesn't end up on the webpage portal. I have to agree with your assessment, maybe the web portal is slowly withering away. Though I personally like to look at my data on my home computer.
