New bike day - Trek Domane AL 2 Disc

Hi all, I bought a new bike and wanted to share. This is a Trek Domane Al 2 Disc in Mulsanne Blue & Black.

New, like from a bike shop new. I've only ever had bought used or got an old bike from a relative, so this is a big deal for me.

Time to let go of my 80s sports-tourer and embrace things like brakes that stop the bike, gears that shift without taking hands off the handlebars, and making do with frames that are either too small or too big.

I'll get around to tweaking. I just wanted to share a photo before I install mudguards, lights, bags etc.

Looking forward to having a good 2021.

That blue is very classy. A real bottom bracket, flat mount discs, 12mm thru axles! Good choice, congrats!

Nice, I've been riding a Domane since 2017, still loving it. I still call it "the new bike" or sometimes "the midlife crisis bike" The last bike I bought before that was back in 1997 or so...
