The bicycle (laden) bus

"Pardon me, but I had to register to help answer this:I went to high school in Huntington Beach, CA in 1963-64 with 'Romtom" - correctly known as Thomas Ross Holme.
We sat together in many classes in Old Huntington and then on to Huntington Beach/Marina HS when it became available.
I kept up communication with Ross up until just a few years before his death. It was a shock for me when I learned that he had terminal cancer - which eventually took his life. He never said anything about cancer or if he was even sick."
