If you could have any colour scheme possible for your bike, what would you choose?

...does this mean we can switch the thread over to “favorite car colors” then?

rydabent,
OPP's, not meaning to hijack this thread but I wholeheartedly agree, I liked the transition and "colors" from the 54 to the Tri-5's, and feel that any of them would compliment a bike.
I am partial to the Nomads and have owned a few, a 57 F.I. and currently a 56 Dual-Quad Crocus-Yellow and Black.
Best, Ben

If I could have ANY colors? Well, to me (since I'm a child of the bike boom) chrome socks are a given... Not to mention that they don't chip with constant wheel removal! Chrome driveside chainstay protector or entire chrome d/s chainstay. Chrome lugs or proper lug-lining... (note the lugged steel frame
)
...and then after that, any candy color over silver/chrome... -- Plum/purple, Green, Copper/rootbeer, Red, Blue... Fades from one candy color to another could also work - yellow-to-red, or what have you...
Polished silver components (bars, cranks, brakes, levers, etc) NO body-color or black (or gold for that matter)
Graphics - simple name on the frame only, and a complimentary color (preferably the same color as the lug lining).
Wheels - polished aluminum hoops, and polished hubs! NO gaudy manufacturer stickers on wheels, other than the traditional C&V (Wolber, Mavic, etc)... Stainless butted spokes with silver nipples...
Yeah, I'm C&V, through and through!!!

I love the metallic olive color I chose for the repaint of my touring bike! No regrets.

I also love the raw Ti plus matte bourbon accents of my custom Seven

My Caad9 I bought in 2007. I was looking at the Red version, but found the clear coated frame very pleasing.

Is transparent a color?
"Clearly it is not a colour."
"Transparently true"
I believe this has become a circular argument !
