My new bike
Hey, I don't post here much owing to my now old bike... here's my story...
For about 8 years I had a gorgeous GT MTB, it was quite an old model, but it lasted me SO well, it was light, it had [what I thought were] great Shimano Altus gearset and I absolutely adored it. But you guessed it, I moved into my new house and within 2 days it was STOLEN [and not yer average leave it unchained outside your house with a big STEAL ME sign on it... no no no... they had to lift it over a 6 FT wall!!]... so anywho, I was bikeless for 3 months [being a poor student] until my very kind brother for Xmas bought me a Concept which was a bit like this one. .
Now I can't argue because it was really a wondeful thought, but the bike sucked, and I suffered on this thing for the last 8 or so months.
So anyway, I finally did something about it today... went to the bikeshop and managed to get hold of one of these... . And what is even better, I only paid £320 for it! Now I don't know a lot about bikes, but the gears felt brilliant (even better than the Altus on my old GT which I thought were top notch) it hasn't got that rubbishy all round suspension which on the Concept made riding it SO much more difficult. Plus it looks goooooood...
I have seen it has had some good reviews -- does anyone else here own one, or got any experience with them?
Cheers
Matt

This bike is a decent bike. It has a Deore drivetrain which is significantly better than altus (3 levels above altus). The crankset is nice, and the stem is nice, and the frame is nice..
Enjoy your new bike.
