Need help finding new water bottle.
Looking to purchase online, and would like it to look nice as I don't drive and bring my bottle in with me for app'ts etc. Doesn't need to be insulated, actually from what I've been reading on how they are harder to squeeze/drink from would just as soon have regular type. My current ones--Tacx Source--work fine and are good for on bike use, but not so great to take indoors/offices and such. Any suggestions?

I have no idea what your criteria is that would make a bottle acceptable for polite company or not but I will say that aluminum bottle cages will scuff up the graphics on your water bottle so if you want to keep it looking nice I'd suggest stainless steel. I prefer King Cages. https://kingcage.com/

I go by the specs of the bottles.
Aluminum bottle cages tend to mark up your bottles. Stainless and plastic cages don't as much.
Specialized Purist MOFLO and Watergate water bottles are good bottles. It looks like you can get good designs.
Zefal Magnum bottles are some of the largest bottles.
I've found that many of the Stainless Contigo water bottles fit cages quite well. Find one that is bare stainless, unpainted. There is one with a flexible flip spout that works reasonably well.

Oddly enough this appears to be a difficult question. There is so much data being applied to the dangers of BPA, CPA, PVC, light and heavy metals as well as micro-plastics. For now polyethylene seems to be the best, but that could change.
My preferred water bottle would be made of "Nalgene" (brand name only). I would also chose one that is transparent so that I could tell how much water is in it. Also there are times I may have to drink wild water and transparent or semitransparent Nalgene would let me see the success of my water treatment/filtration.
My bikes are so Frankenized that specific bicycle logos are no longer a factor...

How would anyone here would know what you consider to be an appropriate bottle for bringing into appts?

You could get one from the big footed, sasquatchy brand. Super expensive, but a status symbol to certain crowds. Or find one of their knockoffs for less coin.

I find this a very useful feature on long rides. I use these Elite bidons for racing as they are transparent and incredibly light.
I also have a couple of Camelbak Podiums, which are heavier duty and have a more fancy valve - although I'm not really sure what it adds to the party!
But if you want something that looks nice, then there's this from Elite:-

I don't worry about bottles. Only an infected sicko would take them.
I don't think many people want to mess with another person's bottle. I have left mine at a park a couple of times. Plenty of homeless and drug addicts around the area and park where I stop. I left a bottle there a couple of times for 2 or 3 hours making a round trip. The bottles were still there untouched. I know if I saw another cyclist's bottle, I wouldn't touch it. One thing out of respect and the other out of fear of the cooties.
I remember on a group ride, one rider forgot a bottle then borrowed one from another rider. No thanks, I'll die of thirst before borrowing another's bottle.

I can relate to that last line. I forgot my water bottles in the truck of my car. A couple I was riding with offered me one of theirs (tandem). While I took the loaner, I never could drink from it. Luckily it poured for about half the 40 mile ride (in dry eastern Washington) and I was not really that thirsty.

Walk into the office with one of these, half filled with some lemon-lime flavored gatorade. That's prob one way to get attention, or at least wondering how long your confined commute was.
