If they really want to reduce the number of cars, put the pizza robots in the car lanes and keep them out of the bike lanes.

I'll take a couple dozen of those if you'll take the guy that rides this thing on our MUP...

It goes from one side of the trail to the other so you never know if it's safe to pass. Thankfully the guy slows up or stops when he sees others, and evidently it wears him out too much to ride more than once or twice a year. <grin>

Not to mention the fact that robots steal old people’s medicine.

When they have robot craft beer delivery you can draft those.
I was shocked to see the Noid in a recent Domino’s commercial. I figured he was buried forever

Litigation should be interesting when a robot in a bike lane causes a serious injury to a cyclist.

I'm not happy with that at all. 15 mph might be a little slow for the bicycles I see on street paths, and I could see them being used on the local MUP. I'd think drones would be more cost effective, but that'll depend on the weight/size of the order.

Drones would never fly around here. Literally, grounded as in too heavy of a load. The amount & frequency of deliveries for food is scary. Door dash & other like services run nonstop around the area. Almost worse than the endless lawnmowers going all week & weekend.

Push the robot over and see if it can get up by itself.

It has to carry things that most folks would want. Pack it with booze & sliders, it wont make it outta the dock!

at least bicycle tire manufacturers can leverage off of it eventually. "Protection against punctures caused by robots & robot debris, a revolutionary compound!"
