Storm damage in Cape Cod

I'm planning a vacation in Cape Cod later this month. I hope to bring my bike to explore the area, but I'm wondering how the area is post Ida. I saw that there was a tornado in the general area (the city of Dennis) and everywhere got torrential rain and high winds according to every news report.

Is the area safely bikeable or should I leave the bike home?

Tourism is a big part of the local economy. It will be bikeable before your vacation.

Losing tourism income is a powerful incentive for local governments to clean up storm damage.

I'm always surprised how quickly storm damage can be cleaned up. What takes me a day in my yard -- get a crew with power tools and heavy equipment, and it'll be gone in 20 minutes.

It's fine - localized damage:

Thank you all...The bike (I'll probably bring my hybrid as it's most versatile) will be coming.

Better to bring it and be unable to ride, than to not bring it and be unable to ride.
