Whatís too tight for Cycling Jersey.

How snug is too tight for Fall weather cycling jerseys. Barely enough room for a short sleeve base layer.

Sizing up too much creates bunch of other issues.

Ditch the jersey and get something like flannel or wool -- y'know, stuff that's worked for a hundred years, even without a logo.

If you cycling kit takes you 30 minutes to put on and 30 minutes to take off then it means that it's too tight.

Logos are very important, they increase watts and speed.

Its like obscenity- hard to define, but you know it when you see it. Just look in a mirror.

Uncomfortable for me is when you are standing and the shoulder/chest area is constricted until you get into an aggressive riding position.

Uncomfortable is stopping every 15 mins to pull your pants or baggy cycling shorts back up.

Definitely sounds too tight. Bibs will resolve the droopy drawers issue. Aside from comfort, your build matters as well. I'm overweight and look like a lumpy sausage in a "race fit" jersey. If that sounds familiar, do folks a favor and size up.

Yes. I have one race fit jersey, which is consigned to indoor cycling only.

If you normally wear a baselayer, and this jersey is too tight to comfortably fit with one, then I think you've answered your own question.

Actually I agree with this statement. Personally I'm much more comfortable wearing a too tight jersey versus a too loose jersey.

He would be perfectly illustrative for this thread. Unfortunately he has been banned from BF. If only we were more inclusive.

The tighter it fits, the more hair pokes out.
Maybe I'm confusing threads?
