I'd kinda like to see someone actually riding that thing.

I suppose the first cyclist offered a ride with aero bars felt the same way: "You first."

Looks ideal for splitting lanes in city traffic.

Apparently the guy is a messenger in Chicago. They say he rides very fast.

Thread needs more rules and exclusions.

The main thing I was thinking about is either botched modifications and repairs along with extreme abuse or neglect on a bike.

Then how is this a failed modification? I am surprised there's still a bike messenger in Chicago at this point, though.

Funny enough, soon after I saw this one of the suspension fork manufacturers (can't remeber which one) came out with a new model that looked a whole lot like this.

TBH, when I see a bodge like that, I'm curious if it works for the rider. I like it when people adapt things for their own use.
