Since we are flexing our e-muscles...

I've carried a bunch of spare wheels while riding. Usually to the LBS. I think I've only once carried two ... after a craigslist purchase. I always just strapped them to my back, messenger bag style. Remove the skewers and wrap the end of the axle so it doesn't dig into my back.

I found a very friendly stray cat once while out on a bike ride. Either a large kitten or a young adult. I wanted to take it home.... Probably impossible to carry on the bike and difficult (at best) to carry for the 8 miles or so if I walked home (even the most patient cat has its limits!). Fortunately, the cat wasn't actually a stray (it had a collar) so I didn't have to decide whether to take it home with me or not.
