Raceface Chesters on all my bikes, flat-soled New Balance sneakers. I have multiple pairs, I try to rotate them so as to vary the pressure areas over time. I have terrible feet generally and finding a good fit in a "cycling specific" shoe would require very expensive trial and error. This shoe/pedal combination works great for me for very long rides and thousands of miles per year, is extremely inexpensive, and is really convenient for when I want to hop off the bike and walk around. Since I have an extensive history of debilitating foot problems that I've managed to avoid the last several years of long and relatively intense riding, I really have an attitude of "it ain't broke, don't fix it."

The two in the back for spring/summer/fall, the two in the front for winter riding here in the valley. I use 520's for all but the Surly, it has 324's on it so I can ride with anything on.

The ones that get used:
Most used are Sidi and Specialized with Crankbrothers as an easier release than SPDs yet great engagement.
Also often used Sidi with SPD
Next would be Sidi with Time ATAK which are a Crankbrothers copy.
Platform for town bike.
Rarely used Sidi with SPD-SL for checking out bikes only because I like to walk.

DA pedals on the road bike, eggbeaters on the others.
3 pr shoes w/ road cleats, 4 pr w/ eggbeater cleats, 2 pr w/ SPD cleats (for spin bike & non-existent spin class), & 1 pr ancestral shoes w/ nail-on slotted cleats.

Look clipless on everything, the original version.

I have an assortment.
Two road bikes with Speedplay Zero pedals (now owned by Wahoo). These are my favorite system.
A fixed gear bike with Shimano SPD-SL
A fixed gear with plastic toe cages and leather straps
A 3-speed city bike with flat pedals
A single speed with flat pedals
A set of SPD pedals I've occasionally used in the past, currently kept as spares
White Lake road shoes with combination of Boa and velcro strap, Speedplay cleats--my favorite shoes
Black and gray Specialized road shoes with velcro straps, Speedplay cleats
Black and red Fizik road shoes with just a Boa ratchet, SPD-SL cleats
Olive green Giro touring/commuting shoes with laces and SPD cleats--my least favorite.
Sketchers slip-on loafers that I wear for nearly everything, including casual bike rides
