cleaning a bike without harming the paint
i noticed that some stupid-looking stickers on the sides of my bike were peeling off so i decided to pull them off all the way. Now I have all the glue still stuck on the paint and all the dirt from the road sticking to it. how can I get this glue off of the frame without removing the paint at the same time?
thanks.
thanks.

There's some stuff called Goo B Gone that works great. Try it on a small spot first. Works fairly fast so don't leave it on too long. Good Riding

Isopropol alchohol, denatured alcohol, or even Simplegreen can work. Peanut butter works but is super slow. Clean dirt off first to prevent scratches. Test a spot to make sure paint is not affected.

Goo Gone should work well. If it's really stuborn try Goof Off (test the Goof Off first as it may remove paint).

Goo Be Gone is a mainstay in my shop. It usually works and does not damage the finish,

Simplegreen's amazing... It ges me rid of most goo and gunk. I'm guessing glue will go too.

Mild Car polish will take it off very quickly. NOT CUT & POLISH though.

CRC Brakleen on a soft cloth will clean any sort of gunk off your paint, chrome, alloy, etc. and leave it spotless. Just be careful about wiping it on plastics, as it can gum up the surface on some.
