Bikes in video adverts not selling bike stuff....

I thought there was a topic with these videos, but couldn't find it. If it exists and the topic is worth bumping instead of a new topic, link it and we can close this.

Otherwise, post up videos of adverts selling something other than a bicycle related item..........but including a bicycle. Must be obvious, even if very brief.

My kids loved this one:

Yep.
Every car commercial, too.
Gotta have a reason to drive their product 2 hours to the mountain bike park for 5 miles of the worlds easiest single track. Or to the top of the mountain pass with the road bike on the roof while passing the poor sucker riding up said pass.

Drug Commercial bikes...Nobody ever understands the joke.

Du-more, missed joke opportunities there! Geeez, like a freaking softball. "You can du-more with your spouse, your yoga instructor, your boss."

I remember a number of years ago on a ukulele forum posters would note commercials with ukuleles. More rare than commercials with bikes.

One of our local banks has had commercials with people riding bikes; the bikes are the color of their sign.

Haven't seen that since the supply chain issues hit bikes and drove their prices up. Is the bank afraid of bike loans?

Maybe I shouldn't post this one here, but on a car centric forum instead......

There is another on pinkbike, but I'd get in trouble if I posted it here. It's probably considered in poor taste by those that are prudes. It's video is number 305982 if you know where to add that to pinkbike's url.

There is one I have been seeing recently. Diabetes drug, IIRC. They lead own a bike shop and gives a bike to a young girl who them uses it to deliver newspapers.

Edit: Found it:

Heh. When looking for it, I found this.

Sort of NSFW.

At the end of that Cialis ad, there's the usual ton of fine print scrolling down the screen. I can't read it, but am wondering if it pertains to drug side effects, or to the hazards of riding helmet-less through city traffic...Um, and doing it while, ahh, excited.

Seek medical help for a "ride" lasting more than 4 hours?

This one doesn't surprise me. I work for the folks who make that drug. We sponsor an all type 1 sufferer pro bike team. So a bike shop person being in an advert would make sense.

Yes. I'm just saying since they sponsor a type 1 pro team, the bike thing making it's way into the type 2 advert doesn't surprise me.
