the stereotype of a cyclist is a presumed generalization to anyone out riding there bicycle out on the public road.
you don't ever hear motorists grouping the makes & models of bicyclists like the public does of Dodge Ram, F250, Audi, BMW etc drivers.
There goes those snot rocket Trek Domane riders again, swiggin that water & chompin on those chews!

Unless you know the cyclist personally, it's foolish to assume they asked for those death lanes. Ever since they put those "protected" bike lanes on Reseda Blvd a few years ago, I have witness more car/bike accidents and near misses that I have in over a decade before. Drivers entering driveways can't see behind the parked cars and end up right hooking cyclists. Drivers exiting driveways are creeping out too far before they look and end up with a cyclist flying over their hood. Cyclists encounter trash and debris on those narrow lanes, and the curbs prevent them from riding around it. I certainly never asked for those poorly designed lanes in my town.

It wasn’t true yelling, it is the response when you get another part or tool.
This time a screwdriver set. I was helping my son-in-law and left a couple of old black handle Snap-on screwdrivers at their house.
He doesn’t have many good tools, so I decided to get a Wera set for me… and add a #3 phillips… an awl (even though I rarely use one and recently re-ground my old one).
My wife knows I have a ton of screwdrivers, so there is no getting around it.

I agree that there are certain situations where it's necessary and safer for a cyclist to take a lane but that's not what we are discussing here...We're talking about cyclists who take a lane and impede traffic simply because they have a big ego and are trying to prove their rights. It's almost as if their ride is a protest against all the drivers.

If stripping screw heads are your thang, a torx screw driver will do the job.

I just honk the horn in these situations (70s Cadillac horn sound)and yell "GET OVER" as I pass... no point in striking up a conversation and making it more dangerous.
