Reccomendation
I already have a mountain bike with slicks for paved trail riding, but I was thinking of getting a second bike for a an easier time with paved trails, but in the past I have not enjoyed drop handles so I'm probably sticking to a flat bar. What type of bike would you reccomend, and any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Some rigid hybrid, probably more performance oriented.
Trek FX, Giant Escape, Cannondale Quick, Specialized Sirrus etc.
Mount relatively wide supple tires on it.
Is your MTB rigid, hardtail or full suspension? What are you seeking to improve?
