I once woke up with a searing pain the felt like a pimple on my butthole.
I was scared to poo and when I did, I shed tears.
I was debilitated for a few hours until I sat in the tub.
By evening I was mostly ok, and it was normal by 24 hours.
Was this a hemorrhoid?
