As a taller person, I appreciate the added length on the legs and arms. I have a couple of vintage jerseys that I swear the short sleeves look like little cap sleeves.

I want to know why the waist is so damn high on cycling shorts. I have to put chamois butter on my nipples to keep them from chafing on the waist band of my shorts.

Thoughts?
I seen a young girl cycling last week with such a tan line. Didn't bother her at all. I see runners on the paths the same, on arms and legs. But I think it would bother me if my legs were like that.

Alas, cycling apparel isn't made for us overweight, middle-aged men with sagging moobs.

Always thought bibs were just a male version of Spanx for the gut.

So true. Still could use some chamois butter on the nips for those shoulder straps, though.

sorry, didn't read the entire thread... were duathlon shorts mentioned? I have a pair made by LG. They are not as long as typical cycling shorts and have less padding. Maybe the OP would prefer these to move their tan line up.

With different size people and different style preferences, you’d think there would be multiple options available (like there are for non-cycling shorts).
