Bought myself a new fitness watch (Amazfit GTR4) and some new gear (short sleeved jersey, long sleeved jersey, gilet) from the club I've started riding with recently.

I will be upgrading the single sided PM on my G7 to a dual sided PM provided 4iiii has a good Boxing Day sale. Maybe an updated HRM too, although the Garmin Dual HRM I am currently using works just fine.

Not for Christmas, and if I'd started the process earlier I'd have been out riding it already, but I'm buying a GreenSpeed Anura. I've wanted a delta recumbent ever since I knew they existed. Got to test-ride one at the Recumbent Cycle Con in October and just loved it.

The weather gods are bringing all of Southern California a nice present on Christmas day: High temps of 75F - 80F with a morning lows from 45F-50F. Mountain temps will be colder but the days will be sunny so you can ski/snowboard all day long. The waves at the beach will be small (they were 'up' the past few days), water temp is 59F (normal), so probably better to go on a Christmas day ride than a day of surfing. Not sorry I live here!

I got a set of decals for m Raleigh Super Course from Velocals — since they are going out of business — and told my wife that would be my Christmas present.

I usually spoil myself pretty good, being unmarried & no kids, but I'll probably get myself something anyways. 🤔😉

Thanks to my femur fracture I need to wear compression stockings or leggings... so I bought another pair of full length cycling tights from "Fat Lad at the Back."
https://fatladattheback.com/en-us/co...-due-september
They should arrive today, so I can wear one while the others go in the wash.

I bought a new front wheel in all black to match the all-black rear wheel I had to buy a few months ago when my previous rear wheel cracked. I also bought a new, super bright taillight a couple of months ago, which wasn't really a Christmas present but I suppose it can be considered one. More like a necessity.

Bike-related haul for this year:
Garmin Edge 1040 computer to replace my aging 520 who's battery is fried
Garmin Varia RTL515 radar tail light, something I should have bought years ago
2x Pactimo Summit 12-hour bibs, which were on sale and I needed a couple of pairs of black bibs
2x Pactimo Summit undershirts, ditto
Silca Mattone saddle pack for a new bike, this is the best saddle bag on the market
Small Ornot handlebar bag in a cool bright yellow color from my kids
100% S2s "Tokyo Nights" with low light lenses, I needed another pair of sunglasses and these are great
